Tolls & Fees

DOTD operates GeauxPass, a statewide toll system for roads and bridges across the state. GeauxPass allows travelers to enjoy non-stop driving on the LA 1 through a convenient pre-paid tag installed on their vehicle.

To keep you on your way, all-electronic tolling systems have been installed. This system will keep customers moving and reduce traffic. Preexisting GeauxPass account holders may continue paying tolls using their online accounts or stopping by the Golden Meadow Customer Service Center. For customers without a pre-paid GeauxPass account, a new Toll-By-Plate system will be used to allow those customers to receive an invoice by mail at the address where the vehicle is registered.​
