If you choose to travel in Louisiana by bicycle or by foot, rest assured DOTD is here to provide you with safe and accessible bike and pedestrian facilities, carefully designed and managed for the benefit of residents and visitors alike. Our Highway Safety Division’s Bike and Pedestrian Program recently created the Statewide Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan to further the development of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure across the state.
