Safe Routes to School Program

In 2001, about 16% of kids walk or bike to school.
Safe_Routes_to_School Program: The Safe Routes to School programs all share one common goal - to improve the health of kids and the community by making walking and bicycling to school safer, easier and more enjoyable. The Safe Routes to School Program will open its new funding cycle on January 5, 2009.
