Hurricane Evacuation Corridor Study

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has completed the Hurricane Evacuation Corridor Study which includes a feasibility study and evaluation of a corridor from relocated US 90 to LA 3127.  The primary purpose of this corridor will be to provide a direct northbound hurricane evacuation route that will reduce congestion and delays during a hurricane evacuation event and reduce the total hurricane evacuation time for the region.
