2013 Aviation Career Education (ACE) Camp
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD), Aviation Section, in its continuing efforts to
reach out to young people and introduce them to aviation and flying is pleased to announce the Louisiana Aviation Career
Education (ACE) Camp Program. DOTD Aviation, in partnership with LaAviator.com, Louisiana Airport Managers & Associates
(LAMA) and Louisiana Airports, will co-sponsor four one week-long camps that are aimed at high school students between
the ages of 15 and 18 considering a career in aviation.
DOTD sponsorships are available with a submittal of an essay on a current aviation topic. Each submittal must include
a DOTD essay submittal form. Please submit essays to below address by the camp’s due date:
