Judge Seeber Bridge (Claiborne Ave.) Maintenance Project
The Judge Seeber Bridge over the Industrial Canal was closed for approximately two months in 2010. To conduct work on the bridge’s mechanical and electrical system, replace damaged beams, and replace the bridge decking. This has been part of an ongoing project to refurbish this bridge. This page is dedicated to updating the community on current and future work pertaining to this bridge. All updates will be posted below and on our Facebook page.
During closures, DOTD recommends drivers detour via the La. 46 St. Claude Avenue Bridge or the Florida Avenue Bridge. Drivers can also take La. 47 (Paris Road) to I-510/I-10 as an alternate route.
